Reconstruction of Picton Main Street is set to begin on June 5.
The project will span from Johnson Street to 250 metres east of Spencer Street.
The following work will be conducted:
- Installation of new underground infrastructure including watermains, sanitary sewers, and storm sewers.
- Roadway reconstruction with new concrete curbs and gutters, concrete sidewalks, and a new asphalt roadway surface.
There will be three phases to the project with the first phase being conducted between Johnson Street and Bay Street from June 5 until late August.
Phase 2 work will be conducted between Bay Street and Spencer Street and begin in late August and continue until November 2023.
The final phase will see work conducted between Spencer Street and approximately 250 metres east of Spencer Street beginning in 2024.
