Two 21-year old men from the GTA face numerous charges after a footchase with police in Downtown Trenton overnight. A Quinte West OPP officer spotted a suspicious vehicle, just before midnight, and the pair from York Region bolted. They were arrested after a short foot chase and are currently in custody being held for a bail hearing charged with possession over $5000. The driver also blew a warn and has had his licence suspended for 3 days under the revised drinking and driving laws.
