A group of concerned Brighton residents will be raising money for a scholarship fund for medical students…and, Brighton Council is helping out financially. As Councillor Mike Vandertoorn explains council approved a request for 5-thousand dollars in seed money to get the project underway. Council previously approved the project and placed nearly 19-thousand in its 2009 budget as the first of a four committment.
