The Municipality of Brighton now has an official flower.
Council heeded advice from the Brighton Garden Club recently and chose the native perennial
Aqulegia Canadensis which is commonly known as Wild Columbine as a symbol for the community.
Wild Columbine is a flowering plant in the Buttercup family can be seen in various parts of Brighton
and throughout the area.
