We now know how much the City of Quinte West will receive from Ontario’s municipal transit funding announced on Wednesday.
The city tells Quinte News they will be receiving nearly $70,000.
$69, 578 to be exact.
The city says the funding will be used to cover costs for the 2022 transit budget.
The money will be sent to Quinte Transit to determine where to best cover the costs.
On Wednesday, the province announced that up to $505 million in funding would be sent to municipalities across the region to support their local transit.
