When it comes to enrolment, Loyalist College is near the top in eastern Ontario in terms of reaching its goals.
With students still signing up Loyalist is already at 85% of its enrolment target of 3,700.
This is second behind only Algonquin College in Ottawa.
Meanwhile Senior Vice-President of External Relations and Business Development at Loyalist Jeremy Laurin told Belleville’s Economic and Destination Development Committee that the college has thrived under the leadership of Ann-Marie Vaughan, who is now President of Humber College.
Laurin says student enrolment has been on the rise and that Loyalist’s financial situation has improved.

In 2016 Loyalist had a $4 million deficit while last year it posted a $35 million surplus.
