The Belleville Theatre Guild is cancelling the final three performances of its production, The Christmas Tree. Below is a statement from the BTG.
The health and safety of our audience, our cast, crew and volunteers has always been a priority of the Belleville Theatre Guild.
With that in mind, the Board of Directors has decided that in the best interest of everyone involved we will be cancelling the final three performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday (December 16, 17, 18) evening of Norm Fosters “The Christmas Tree”.
We would like to thank Warren Christiani, Liz Marshall and the entire cast and crew for their efforts to bring live theatre back to the Pinnacle Playhouse.
We would further like to thank our sponsors A&B Precast, Barbers Flowers, the YMCA of Central East Ontario, Debra Tosh RE/MAX and Three Hills Engineering for their support.
Regarding tickets, there are two options.
Ticket holders are eligible for a refund if you wish. The second option, that we hope people will consider is donating the value of your tickets to the theatre. We could still very much use the support after the past 20 months. A reminder, any donation over $20, a donation receipt can be provided. Submit your request to info@bellevilletheatreguild.ca as the phone will NOT be monitored at this time.
Wishing everyone Health and Happiness over the Holiday Season.
