The late Larry Mavety would be smiling as another member of the Belleville Bulls alumni has been named a general manager in the Ontario Hockey League.
Kory Cooper is the new G.M. of the Kingston Frontenacs after head coach and GM Paul McFarland announced he was leaving to join Dave Hakstol’s coaching staff with the NHL expansion Seattle Kracken.
Cooper joined the Frontencas front office as assistant general manager and goalie coach in 2020 following 3 seasons asĀ goalie coach with the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League.
Cooper played 3 seasons for the Bulls from 1994 to 1997 where he was a teammate of James Boyd who is now the General Manager of the Ottawa 67’s.
Cooper’s first job is to hire a new coach.
