Families across the province will be able to enjoy fishing without needing a licence, from July 3 to July 11.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry made the announcement Wednesday.
Anyone taking advantage is expected to adhere to public health guidelines under the second step of the Ontario Reopening Plan and also to adhere to fishing licence regulations including catch limits and size limits.
