The following is a press release from Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police:
DRUG CHARGES LAID IN TRENTON
On Saturday April 24, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., members of the Quinte West OPP were conducting routine vehicle patrol when an individual was located sleeping on the road on Ford Street in Trenton. Police investigation led to the individual being arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. Police seized a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and other drugs from the accused.
Aaron Edward MONTGOMERTY, 36 years old, of Trenton, was charged with the following offences:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Other Drugs
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
Failure to Comply with Probation Order
The accused was held in custody and appeared via video for a bail hearing on Saturday April 24, 2021, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
