Provincial Police seized fentanyl and cocaine after stopping a stolen vehicle in Napanee.
Police stopped a vehicle on Centre Street on Wednesday and after determining it was stolen, arrested the driver and passenger.
Fentanyl, Cocaine, Oxycodone, other prescription pills and approximately $2500.00 in cash were seized.
As a result of the investigation police have charged,
Kimberly ROSE, age 48, of Kingston and Jessica Rose, age 28 of Greater Napanee with:
- Three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of a Schedule III Substance for the purpose of Trafficking;
- Three Counts of Possession of a Schedule IV Substance for the purpose of trafficking
All contrary to the Controlled and Drug Substance Act.
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime; and,
- Theft of a Motor Veh icle contrary to the Criminal Code.
Jessica Rose was further charged with
- Fail to comply with a Release Order contrary to the Criminal Code
Jessica Rose was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on June 22, 2021
Kimberly Rose was held for a bail hearing and will appear for a video bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 27, 2021.
