One person had to be rescued after a boating incident on Lake Ontario near Presqu’ile Provincial Park early Friday afternoon.
Northumberland OPP say one person was in the boat just after 12:30 p.m. when the vessel began taking on water.
The boater called for assistance.
Members of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton located the occupant and pulled them from the water.
The boater was taken to hospital as a precaution.
