Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting another nine new cases of COVID-19 in the area today, but also 19 recoveries, dropping the active case total down to 86.
Five of the new cases were found in Centre Hastings, with two each in Belleville and Quinte West, spread across various age groups.
Six cases are linked to close contact, one is tied to local spread and two transmission causes pending.
Twelve people are still in the hospital because of the virus, with four in the ICU and two on a ventilator.
55,720 vaccine doses have been delivered in HPE, with 3,647 people being fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland County, the HKPR Health Unit is reporting just two new cases today and 10 recoveries, for a total of 81 active cases.
