Quinte West OPP laid charges against one person after observing a suspicious person trespassing on private property.
Monday morning around 9:15 a.m., police noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in a farm field on County Road 40 north of English Settlement Road.
After arresting the driver for trespassing, officers located a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and cannabis readily accessible to the driver.
Thirty-year-old Jordan Whiteside of Quinte West is charged with possession of methamphetamine, enter premises when entry prohibited and two counts of have care or control of a vehicle related to cannabis.
He is scheduled to appear in court next month.
