Seventeen new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Monday in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
According to the HPE Public Health dashboard, there are also 160 active cases.
There have been 13 recoveries since Sunday.
Of the new cases, nine were attributed to close contact, with the causes of the other eight pending.
Eight cases are reportedly in Quinte West, seven are in Belleville and one in Prince Edward County with no location given for the other case.
149 cases are related to variants, an increase of eight since Sunday’s report.
The seven day case rate per 100,000 people is 73.6.
Ten patients are now being treated for the virus at QHC with three in ICU and one on a ventilator.
41,953 doses of vaccine have been given with 3,216 people fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland, the HKPR District Health Unit reported 21 new cases
Monday and 99 active.
There have been 15 resolved cases since their last report on Saturday.
