The Quinte West OPP has laid charges after an officer located and arrested a Quinte West resident on an outstanding warrant.
On April 9, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a Quinte West OPP officer observed a person whom he knew to be wanted for bail violations walking on Dundas Street West in Trenton.
The officer arrested the accused without incident and located a quantity of suspected fentanyl following a search.
Gavin GALBRAITH, 24 years old of Quinte West, has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order – two counts, fail to comply with an undertaking, and possession of a schedule I substance – Fentanyl.
The accused was held for bail and was scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 10, 2021.
