An older wood frame house in the village of Stirling was heavily damaged in a fire today (Wednesday).
The Stirling-Rawdon Fire Department responded shortly before 1 o’clock this morning to the home at 95 East Front Street.
The occupants managed to escape the house safely. There were no injuries.
The fire is out but firefighters will be on scene for some time this morning.
A cause or estimate of damage is unavailable at this time as an investigation continues.
