The H.J. McFarland Memorial Home has updated its COVID-19 guidelines amid the region’s transition to a yellow zone.
All visitors must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result from within the past two weeks prior to visiting and also must verbally attest to having not tested positive since the previous result.
People from Grey/lockdown, Red or Orange zones under the province’s COVID-19 framework will not be allowed inside. An exception will be made for a support worker or visitor who requires immediate access in an emergency or palliative situation.
This comes as the Hastings Prince Edward region was officially moved into a yellow zone under the province’s COVID-19 framework.
