It seems it’s not only seniors wanting to move away from the big city to a smaller community.
According to a story in the Toronto Sun, the city of Belleville is number one on a list of the top 10 communities big city job seekers are checking out.
Younger people are increasingly flocking to smaller communities because housing is more affordable and the lifestyle much more relaxed.
The top 10 list was compiled by Monster, a global employment website owned by Monster Worldwide Inc.
The top three communities job seekers were looking at between July 1 and the end of August were Belleville, Oshawa, and London.
