Last week members of the Quinte Home Builders held a parade in front of Belleville General Hospital, and Tuesday it was signs and dollar signs in Trenton and Picton.
QHBA Executive Officer Ruth Estwick, Board of Directors President John Ross Parks and others stopped by Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and Trenton Memorial Hospital, showing support and signs for front line workers.
Estwick says the goal is to offer moral support to the workers during this tough time. She says they wanted to have a parade, but were told they could not, so this was the next best thing.
Briar Boyce with the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation says the sign of support is most appreciated.
The more than $11,000 raised will go to the local hospital foundations.
