Two people from Quebec have been charged with mischief at Collins Bay Institution.
On Tuesday morning around 4 a.m., Correctional Service Canada officers responded to suspicious activity near the prison.
OPP officers and Kingston Police located a drone and arrested two people in the area.
CSC officers recovered a package inside the prison walls containing cannabis, cell phones, weapons, tobacco and other contraband items.
The investigation is ongoing and names are not being released at this time.
