A 51-year-old inmate at Collins Bay has died while in custody.
Assistant Warden Lynn Dufresne stated in a press release Christopher Sipes died on Thursday, November 21. No cause of death was provided.
Sipes had been serving a five year sentence for possession for the purpose of trafficking since February of last year.
