The spokesperson for a new condo building, proposed for downtown Belleville, has hopes construction can start this year.
Jim Perkins of FairTradeWorks says the next few weeks will be a busy buying season for The Pinnacle, which will be constructed at the corner of Bridge Street and Pinnacle.
The 110-unit, six-storey building is all condo units.
Perkins says buyers from the GTA see a lot of interest in the site.
Perkins says as soon as they sell about 70 of the units, they will be ready to break ground.
Once construction begins, Perkins estimates the entire build from groundbreak to handing over keys, will take about two years.
