The Quinte West Planning Advisory Committee has approved the next steps for two subdivisions in the municipality.
The Orchard Lane development, off County Road 42 (Telephone Road) north of Trenton has received approval for another residential subdivision.
Phase three of the six phase development will see another 76 lots developed.
There are 225 single detached homes proposed.
The site of the former clubhouse for the Bay of Quinte golf course also saw their draft plan approved by the planning committee.
Director of Planning and Development Service Brian Jardine says the plan originally came to the committee as a proposal for six condos, but was then changed to a subdivision and the new draft plan reflects those changes.
The approved draft plan will need to show six residential lots with six detached homes. There will be three shared driveways and all six lots will front onto Hwy. 2.
Final approval still needs to be given on both projects by Quinte West council at their next meeting.
