The City of Belleville will have a very new look around the horse shoe in the next four years.
Mitch Panciuk will move from council to the mayors chair, after winning by 1,550 votes more than Taso Christopher.
Panciuk says the municipality was ready for change.
He defeated current Mayor Taso Christopher, former Councillor Jodie Jenkins, and Councillor Egerton Boyce.
Boyce spoke highly of the new council.
Taso Christopher conceded the race early in the evening.
