Tim Durkin

News Director

Tim Durkin grew up in the Irish Catholic metropolis of Read, in Tyendinaga Township.

After stints in at CJCD in Yellowknife (2006-07) and CKWS in Kingston (2007-11), Tim returned to Quinte Broadcasting.

He is a married father of two daughters and now calls Quinte West home.

John Spitters

News Anchor/Reporter

John Spitters is a longtime employee at Quinte Broadcasting and has split the years between news and sales.

For 13 years John was News Director and Morning Anchor on CJBQ.

John is born and bred in Belleville, graduating from Centennial secondary School in 1975 and went to Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, now Toronto Metropolitan Universityin 1978.

John can be heard most mornings on CJBQ.

Zach McGibbon

Zach comes from the nation’s capital of Ottawa.

McGibbon brings his experience of covering the city to the Quinte region. S

Since joining the Quinte region, Zach has been covering many local events and council meetings and can also be heard delivering radio newscasts and is one of the fill-ins on the Lorne Brooker Show.

When not reporting, you can find Zach lending his voice to different sporting events as well as ringside at professional wrestling shows.
