Building the province up.
That was the message Liberal Premiere Kathleen Wynne brought with her to Belleville on her way through Eastern Ontario today.
She started her remarks by citing some of the positive things her government has been able to achieve while in power.
Wynne told the small crowd that had gathered at Robert Quaiff’s Belleville office that they are always looking for ways to make things better as she believes in care over cuts.

She told the crowd that if secondary school students have the grades, they deserve to go to school, regardless of family income.
Wynne continued by stating that seniors need pharmacare, and they need to not pay the co-payment or the deductible and they are ready to go.

Child care and building the spaces needed are also priorities as is making sure people make a livable wage.
These things are not wants, but needs she says.
Wynne also told the crowd she will fight for repercussions against the United State’s tariffs on steel and aluminum because it will hurt Ontario jobs.
