Latin, hip-hop, and jive were just some of the dances at the 11th annual Volunteer and Information Quinte Dancing with the Stars.
More than 1,000 were on hand to see eight local celebrity couples battle it out for the Mirrorball Trophy.
Winner Carol Wiggins and her son Chris took the top spot for their mother/son rendition of Justin Timberlake’s, “Can’t Stop This Feeling”. She says it was an emotional experience for both of them.

Ashley Rushnell of Rushnell Family Services and her partner Tom Zapletal with the Belleville Senators came in second for their jive dance.
Event organizer Tracey Legault-Davis says they will not have a total raised until a later date, however many thousands of dollars will go towards the agency.
