There’s some good news regarding the skateboard park expansion.
Jim Millar, the Director of Parks and Recreation for the Municipality of Brighton told council on Monday night the Lions Club will be supporting their project.
Millar says there is currently $12,000 in reserve for this project.
There will also be a thermometer in King Edward Park to help let people know how much has been raised towards this project once a final amount for the expansion has been set.
Mayor Mark Walas says he will also bring the project forward to the Rotary Club.
