Hydro One and Veridian Connections crews continue to work on getting the power back to homes and businesses in the Quinte region.
Only about 1,000 customers are without power in scattered outages in Hydro One’s area.

Power was returned to east end Belleville last night.
The outages were caused by sudden and violent wind and rain storms Sunday afternoon and evening.

Sydney Ross was at home, at Queen and Charles Street in Belleville, and was sleeping when a tree came down on her place.

Hydro One expects all of the power to be back by some time Monday afternoon.
