The forecast called for a lot of rain in the Quinte region yesterday (Monday), and it proved to be right.
According to Environment Canada, using readings from CFB Trenton, 44 millimetres of rain fell yesterday, much more than the previous record rainfall of 29.2 mm, which occurred in 1976.
