There could be another change coming to traffic patterns through downtown Stirling.
Stirling-Rawdon council’s Transportation Committee has recommended council survey residents
and businesses on Mill Street in the downtown asking for their support to make Mill Street a one way
street from North Street to James Street.
If that change is made, only eastbound traffic would be allowed on Mill Street in the heart of the downtown.
Mayor Rodney Cooney says it’s hoped the change will make the main intersection downtown a safer one.
