A Quinte West man has been charged in a fatal crash on the 401 on September 20th, which killed a 70 year-old woman from Montreal.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, in the westbound lanes west of Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, where an SUV had hit the back of a sedan around 3:00 p.m.
OPP say the crash killed the rear passenger of the sedan and sent the driver and front passenger to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured and is facing charges of dangerous driving causing death.
43 year-old Erick Meyer of Quinte West will make a first court appearance on November 9th in Belleville.
The circumstances leading to the crash were not released.
