The first annual Warkworth Music Fest takes place this weekend.
It is the brain child of Jake Whalen.
He says for the first year they are doing wall to wall cover bands that will bring some of the world’s largest songs to the stage.
Whalen says everything is taking place at the Warkworth Fairgrounds.
Staff Meteorologist Kevin Williams says the weather is looking teriffic.
The weekend headliners are Little Bones, a Tragically Hip cover band and Ear Candy, who plays the rock songbook from the 70s and 80s.
