A longtime volunteer in Belleville was honoured at yesterday’s city council meeting.
Mayor Taso Christopher presented Lorna Garbutt with the 2017 Senior of the Year award
on behalf of the city and the Province of Ontario.
Lorna Garbutt has volunteered for many years, and has worked tirelessly with the Community Archives of Belleville and Hastings County.
