Thousands of dollars were raised, and lots of hunger satisfied this weekend in Wellington.
On Saturday, the Drake Devonshire Inn hosted a community day, which featured a free skate, a meal with nationally acclaimed chefs, and a charity hockey game.
The game featured Ken Dryden as coach for a Montreal team, against Mike Krushelnyski, Jayna Hefford and a Toronto crew.
Drake GM Karla Brennen says Dryden brought some major star power to the event.
The money raised from the hockey game went to support Community Food Centres Canada.
