The Trenton Golden Hawks are in Pickering to face the Panthers for the second time in five days tonight. Trenton has won 5 in a row including Sunday’s 6-2 decision in Pickering. Trenton goes on their Christmas break after the game but G-Hawks coach and general manager Jerome Dupont says they can’t be thinking ahead of Pickering.
Golden Hawks defenceman Brandon Marinelli says extending their winning streak would be a nice way to go into the break.
CJBQ will have play by play of the game for Eastern Overhead Doors beginning at 7:20.
The Picton Pirates take a 3 game winning streak into their Christmas break. Nick Hoey scored at 18:44 of the third to give Picton a 3-2 win over Napanee. The Pirates move one point behind the second place Raiders in the Provincial Junior “C” Hockey League. Napanee has 3 games in hand.
