The Trenton Golden Hawks needed big games from their key players, and got them in fine fashion Saturday night.
Jeremy Pullara notched his first hat-trick as a member of the Golden Hawks and Lucas Brown added a goal and two assists in a 5-2 victory over the Mississauga Chargers on the road.
Pullara says the chemistry he has with his linemates elevated his play.
Mac Lewis added the other Trenton goal and Andrew Cordssen-David added two assists in the win. Single helpers went to Louis DiMatteo, Chays Ruddy, Michael Silveri, Ben Scheel, Connor Quinn and Cal Walker.
Trenton’s next game is at home against the Milton Icehawks on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Provincial Junior C
The Campbellford Rebels took another tough loss on the chin, losing to the power-house Port Hope Panthers 8-1 Saturday night.
Mike Chambers scored Campbellford’s lone goal with Jeremiah Doherty drawing the only helper.
Goaltender Adam McCormack stopped 37 shots in the loss.
Next on tap is Napanee at Gananoque at 7 p.m. and Picton travelling to Amherstview for a 7:30 puck drop.
