Stirling-Rawdon firefighters kept a house fire contained to just an upstairs bedroom and washroom today north of Stirling.
No one was home at the older wood frame house at 1794 Springbrook Road when the call came in around 4:30 today (Saturday).
It took firefighters less than an hour to knock the flames down.
The Stirling-Rawdon department was assisted by Centre Hastings and Marmora and Lake firefighters.
No one was injured. Damage is estimated at around $100,000 and the cause remains under investigation.
