A Kingston man has been arrested following a crash in Prince Edward County Saturday morning.
At 7:48 a.m., County OPP were called to County Road 11 in Athol Ward to investigate the single vehicle crash.
It was indicated that an SUV had swerved off the road and into a ditch.
Police say an investigation determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol prior to driving. There were no injuries.
Thirty-three-year-old Sumit Gajjar has been charged with driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.
He was released on a promise to appear in Picton court on October 12.
He was also served with a 90-day driver’s license suspension.
