It began as a search for the best golfer in this area. However there will now be challenges from beyond our borders. The 7th annual Quinte Invitational tees off Saturday morning at 9 at Black Bear Ridge. Organizer Greg Knudsen says it will be a full field for the 2 day 36 hole event.
Knudsen says local players will have to be at their best to have a chance to win.
Spectators are welcome to watch. Tee-off time is 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
