Quinte West is experiencing a building boom as it heads into the fall.
With still nearly four full months to go in 2016 the city of Quinte West is soaring ahead in building projects throughout the city.
This includes residential, commercial and industrial.
Mayor Jim Harrison says the city is doing a lot of good work to attract people.

Mayor Harrison says there are good contractors in the area.
Quinte West reports $92.6 million in construction from January to the end of August, compared to $67 million for the same period last year.
This includes just over $25 million for the city’s new public works building which is scheduled to open in 2017.
