One of the longest days of work is underway for construction crews on the new bridge at Bay Bridge Road in Belleville.
Around 4:00 a.m., crews began pouring tonnes of concrete onto the bridge support beams, which span the CP Rail line, running beside Dundas Street West.
Officials say, despite a bit of a delay, dozens of crew members and numerous trucks are on-site and will continue to be throughout the day.
Motorists can expect longer than normal delays in the area of Dundas Street West between Coleman and Sidney Streets.
