The Canadian Cancer Society was the big winner, after the proceeds for a local golf tournament were announced.
The 2nd annual Pink Ball Classic raised more than $26,000, thanks to sponsors and the 144 participants.
Chair of the Pink Ball Classic Jamie Chisholm says it is something that affects the entire organizing committee.
This year’s tournament took place at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course and today’s cheque presentation was at the Rattan Farm on Highway 37 in Thurlow.
