We couldn’t make it three in a row!
There were record high temperatures in the Quinte region both Friday and Saturday, however that
wasn’t the case yesterday.
Sunday’s high was 28.8 degrees celsius, as measured at CFB Trenton. The record high for a July 24th is 32.9 degrees, set in 1987.
Meanwhile, it will be warm again today, with Environment Canada predicting a high of around 30.
That won’t even be close to the record for a July 25th in this area though, as the mercury climbed to a sizzling 37.2 degrees way back in 1941.
