It was a dirty hot day yesterday around these parts, however, it was a lot warmer four years ago.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, the mercury climbed to 29.8C yesterday and as hot as that is it was still almost four degrees cooler than it was back on the same date in 2012.
Then, the high hit 33.6C.
Meanwhile, our forecast high today is around 31C.
The record for a July 7 is 33.9C, set in 1988.
