Belleville Police have released the name of a man facing various sex-related charges, in relation to what officers call a “major incident” this past Saturday.
Officers responded to a complaint of a suspicious person in the West Hill area on Saturday night and chased the suspect down after he ran from the scene.
20 year-old Christopher Kelly was arrested and charged with obstructing police, sexual interference, two counts of sexual assalt and three counts of breaching probation.
Kelly has a bail hearing this afternoon and the BPS Criminal Investigations Branch is still looking into the case.
