If your blue box has taken a beating there’s a chance to replace it, free of charge, this weekend.
Quinte Waste Solutions is holding a blue box exchange on Saturday, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., in the Quinte Mall parking lot, near the mini putt.
In addition to swapping your broken blue bin, you can also buy new new ones for $8 each.
Backyard composters will also be on sale for $55 and bottle bins are available for $11.
Quinte Waste Solutions is also partnering with Project Get Reel, who will collect any old VHS tapes you’d like to get rid of as well.
