Many local municipal leaders are headed to Goderich today, for the annual Ontario Small Urban Municipalities or OSUM conference.
Mayor Robert Quiaff tells Quinte News, it’s a good chance to talk to other leaders from similar communities around the province and see how they’re dealing with various issues.
They mayor also says they’re hoping to get some new ideas from a trade show that runs in conjunction with the conference.
And Quaiff says they’ll also get a chance to meet with some high-profile provincial leaders as well.
PEC Councillor Kevin Gale is also making the trip to represent the county.
The conference runs until Friday.
