A cooking accident led to the evacuation of a west end Belleville residential building Tuesday morning.
Residents report a man fell asleep in his apartment unit and left a frying pan on a hot burner.
The incident occurred at 431 Dundas West at 8:00 a.m.
Belleville firefighters worked to ventilate the building, which has around 30 units.
Damage was minor and no one was injured.
